In our days more and more we are confronted with the object called „Designer Vagina“, cosmetic surgery is on the way to discover a new field, the remodelling of the female genitalia. Numerous women in the western world are using this new service, being not contented with the looks of their vulva. They don’t feel comfortable. Our culture just crossed a point where women are ready to spend a lot of money for being optionally circumcised, to e.g. fit better thong underwear.

What is keeping us from enjoying the variety are the prefabricated pictures we have in our heads, our collective madness to abominate genital femininity.

This is where religion and the story of the virgin Maria created a lot harm and affliction. According to that all the women receiving the male’s seed and giving live to children are impure and maculate.

Instead of worshiping the inventive effort to give live – disrespect is practiced.

Deep inside in most human beings there is this feeling and it brings with it an unexplainable discomfort.

And that is what a lot of people feel when suddenly they are confronted with so manifold different yonis in my book or in photo exhibitions – very often there is no inner allowance to unprejudiced observe this part of the body.

As it is difficult for women to accurately observe this part without a mirror or wrenches, it is a strange and unusual sight – and deep inside hidden unconscious feelings are coming up. In my opinion this is the start of a healing process – if we are willing to give permission to ourselves to consciously feel and question it.

Meanwhile there are plenty of therapists using my book for their work – since they belief that it is a direct way to resolve blockades and troubles.

As it is important for me making the readers familiar with my intention the prologue is printed in 8 languages.

I’m offering speeches and slideshows as well as a photo exhibition. I’m looking for further possibilities for my exhibitions.
